Disclaimer & Refund Policy

1. Refund Policy

This section outlines your rights regarding payments and cancellations.

Cooling-Off Period

Clients are entitled to a three (3) business-day cooling-off period from the date of contract execution. During this period, cancellations must be submitted in writing to Gowise Migration and Consulting Ltd.

Refunds issued within this window will be less a 12% administrative fee.

Refund Tiers & Calculations

  • Before Work Commences:
    If cancellation occurs after the cooling-off period but before service processing begins, refunds will be issued minus the 12% administrative fee.

  • After Work Begins:
    Refunds are calculated on a pro-rata basis using the formula:
    Total Fees Paid – (Value of Work Completed + 12% Administrative Fee).

  • Completed Services:
    Once the agreed scope of services has been fully delivered, no refunds will be issued, regardless of visa outcome.

Non-Refundable Items

  • Administrative Fees:
    Initial processing and file creation fees (12%) are strictly non-refundable once service processing begins.

  • Third-Party Fees:
    Fees paid to government agencies, assessment bodies, medical providers, or courier services are non-refundable.

 

2. Professional Disclaimer

This section clarifies the scope of our responsibility in immigration processing.

No Guarantee of Outcome

Visa approvals and decisions are solely determined by immigration authorities in jurisdictions including Nigeria, Australia, and Canada. Gowise Migration and Consulting Ltd does not guarantee approvals, processing timelines, or outcomes.

Refunds will not be granted for unfavorable decisions or delays beyond the company’s control.

Client Responsibilities

Clients must provide accurate, complete, and truthful information. Gowise is not liable for delays, refusals, or adverse outcomes resulting from incorrect or incomplete information provided by the client.

 

3. Privacy & Data Protection

We are committed to safeguarding your personal and financial information.

Gowise complies with global data protection standards, including:

  • Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR)

  • Australia Privacy Act 1988

  • Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA)

Client information is used solely for immigration processing and will not be disclosed without written consent unless required by law.

 

4. Refund Request Procedure

To request a refund, clients must follow these steps:

  • Written Request: Submit a refund request via the official Gowise email.

  • Required Information: Full name, invoice reference, proof of payment, and reason for request.

  • Review Timeline: A written response will be provided within 3–5 business days.

  • Processing Time: Approved refunds are processed within 14 days.
