Partner & Family Visas
Documentation and application support for family reunification.
Partner & Family Visas
At GoWise, we understand that migration isn’t just about jobs or degrees—it’s about family. Reuniting with a spouse, partner, or parent is a deeply emotional process, and the “red tape” should never stand in the way of love. We provide the expert oversight needed to prove the genuineness of your relationship and navigate the strict 2026 evidentiary requirements.
Australia: Bringing Your Loved Ones Home
Australia’s family stream remains a priority in the 2025–2026 Migration Program, with 52,500 places specifically allocated to families. We help you choose the right subclass to ensure your family can stay together during the processing period.
Partner Visa Pathways
-
Onshore (Subclass 820/801): For partners already in Australia. This provides immediate work rights and Medicare access while you wait for permanent residency.
-
Offshore (Subclass 309/100): For those applying from outside Australia. We manage the complex “two-stage” process to bridge the gap between your current location and your new life.
-
Prospective Marriage (Subclass 300): Often called the “Fiancé Visa,” this allows you to enter Australia to marry your partner within 15 months, providing a clear path to a Partner Visa.
-
Key Focus for This Year:
The Australian Department of Home Affairs has increased its scrutiny on “genuine and continuing” relationship evidence. We guide you through the four pillars of proof:
-
Financial: Joint assets, shared bank accounts, and household bills.
-
Social: Statements from friends/family (Form 888) and proof of joint social activities.
-
Household: Shared living arrangements and domestic responsibilities.
-
Commitment: Evidence of a long-term future together.
Canada: Spousal Sponsorship & 2026 Updates
Canada continues to lead with a target of 84,000 admissions for spouses and children in 2026. However, recent policy shifts have changed how families must plan.
Spousal & Partner Sponsorship
-
In-Canada vs. Outland: We help you decide whether to apply while your spouse is with you in Canada (allowing for an Open Work Permit) or via the faster “Outland” route.
-
Common-Law & Conjugal: You don’t have to be married to sponsor a partner. We specialize in documenting 12 months of cohabitation or proving “conjugal” status for those separated by legal or religious barriers.
-
2026 Critical Update: Parents & Grandparents
Important Notice: For 2026, the Canadian government has officially paused new applications for the Parents and Grandparents Program (PGP) PR sponsorship to clear the existing backlog.
The Solution: We are currently guiding families toward the Super Visa. This is a 10-year multiple-entry visa that allows parents and grandparents to stay in Canada for up to 5 years at a time. We handle the mandatory medical insurance requirements and income proof (LICO) to ensure a successful application.
The GoWise “Heart & Integrity” Approach
Family visas are often the target of “scam agents” who promise guaranteed results. At GoWise, we are different:
-
No “Fake” Evidence: We never encourage or manufacture “paper marriages.” We help you present your real life in a way that the government understands.
-
Strategic Timing: We advise on when to apply to avoid “visa gaps” or losing work rights.
-
2026 Compliance: We ensure your application meets the new income thresholds (TSMIT in Australia / LICO in Canada) and the latest biometric standards.
